Unwitting locals dress us
as clowns, in checks
and stripes
Cerise and turquoise scarves:
bar codes woven
out of sight,
tessellated hat's tassel -
one's (absurd) transmitter
Our dented silver saucers
- do not worry -
need not fly
for mortar/pestle action
grinds a granular refrain:
unterra tessitura
to Mother Tesseract
